OUR STORY
We exist simply because we saw a need for non-denominational Christian fellowship in the Little River area. Our founding members, Butch and Duane were obedient to God's calling to start a church. They partnered with ministry veteran, Eddie to create Simply Christian Church. While we are a new church plant, we are passionate about our community and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus. We believe in making disciples who make disciples.
Right now we are launching small groups who meet at various times during the week. We believe spiritual growth and fellowship happens best amongst smaller groups of people. These groups hold each other accountable, encourage one another with Scripture, and do life together. Church is not about a building, but about the people!

We believe in the one true and living God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who is fully human and fully God. He lived, died, and was resurrected for man’s salvation.

We believe that salvation comes solely from God by grace, through belief in Christ. No human effort is sufficient.
God's plan of salvation:
HEAR (Romans 10:17), BELIEVE (Hebrews 11:6), REPENT (Luke 13:3), CONFESS (Romans 10:10), BAPTISM (Acts 2:38), REMAIN FAITHFUL (John 8:31, Revelation 2:10)
We believe that all who place their faith in Jesus Christ are included by the Holy Spirit in one united spiritual body, the Church, of which Christ is the Head, and of which our local church is a part. We believe church is not about a building, but about the people!

We believe the Bible is infallible, meaning it is true and without fault. We believe the miracles and events recorded in Scripture happened and to reject any part of Scripture as unreliable is like changing an inch on a ruler- the entire measuring system is altered.
We believe man is separated from God when he chooses to disobey. Man is not basically good, he is basically evil.

LEAD EVANGELIST & PASTOR
Eddie and his wife Falisha have 4 children and 2 grandchildren! He has been working in full time ministry for over 30 years. Eddie has a bachelors degree in Bible, a Masters in Psychology and is a licensed chaplain! He loves connecting with new people and is excited to be serving the Little River community. He and his wife enjoy antique flipping, traveling, scuba diving, and hiking with their 175 lbs Mastiff!

Butch and Duane are our founding charter members. Butch is retired from the Airforce and Duane is a domestic project manager! They are passionate Christians who love people and desire to connect with others.
